Asheville Proposal Photographer: Chris & Jenna

She said yes!!

When Chris first contacted me about being his Asheville proposal photographer, I was so excited to be in on the surprise. Chris put so much thought into their trip and his proposal; he actually sent me an itinerary down to the fifteen-minute mark.

The plan was for Chris to take Jenna to the Linville Winery for a romantic lunch, and then they would just "happen" up to the Beacon Heights Trail Overlook, where I would be masquerading as a wildlife photographer.

It turns out that fortunately, I have *not* missed my calling as a wildlife photographer, and I should stick to my goals of being an Asheville proposal photographer. These sweet portraits of Chris and Jenna are waaaaay better than my bird photos!

These love birds made it easy, however. After staging a selfie setup, Chris wrote the most thoughtful letter for Jenna to read... and I popped out of the bushes to capture the moment right as he got to one knee to pop the question.

It was such a beautiful moment to capture, and Jenna said a heartfelt YES.

The best part of photographing proposals, in my opinion, is the portraits after he puts a ring on it. Those big goofy grins, the overwhelming excitement, and those pure, loving glances never fail to remind me of everything I love about my job.

Thank you, Chris and Jenna, for choosing me as your Asheville proposal photographer.

Congratulations on your engagement! There is so much joy, love, and adventure in your future!
