Charleston Conference Photography: FAB 2019 Day 2
And that’s a wrap!
The final day of FAB 2019 was so bittersweet, as it is every year. While you can’t help but feel fired up and ready to hit the ground running with all the words of encouragement, thoughtful insights, and empowering action plans, FAB, like most great conferences, starts to feel like a small world of its own. While the friendships formed and new business connections are hard to step away from as the attendees go back to their daily lives, I think they’ll all find that what happens at FAB DOESN’T stay at FAB. And that’s a beautiful thing.
FAB is a place where women empower and support women, where the tagline “no bullshit” reigns supreme, and where honesty and vulnerability are completely welcomed into the learning and grown process, and I can’t wait to see what next year brings.
It’s been such a pleasure to photograph FAB for all three years and watch this amazing idea not only come into fruition, but to watch it grow into the powerhouse of knowledge, camaraderie, and ideas that it is today. I have absolutely no doubt that next year will be bigger and better.
If you’re just catching up on recent posts, FAB is a Charleston-based workshop for women in the hospitality industry. It was created by women for women, and features two days of intensive panels with some of the food and beverage industry’s most successful and remarkable women. This year featured 54 amazing speakers and was hosted at the historic William Aiken House in downtown Charleston, SC.
