Event Photography: Old Village Post House Inn Bridal Luncheon
The Old Village Post House Inn in Mount Pleasant, SC has a special place in my heart. Not only is it a beautiful historic building that serves up some pretty amazing food, but I’ve shot some of my favorite small weddings and elopements there! One of my weddings last winter even had a hot chocolate bar with tons of toppings and marshmallows, yum.
The Post House Inn is a gorgeous Lowcountry venue that specializes in hospitality in every aspect, making for a fun and stress-free event filled with really tasty Southern-style cuisine, so when I got the call about doing the photography for Mallory’s bridal luncheon there I knew it was going to be a wonderful Friday morning.
And can we take a moment on those lovely monogrammed cookies? What a thoughtful and fun favor to get the party started. (Any party favor you can eat is one I’m totally down with.)
The florals and lighting were a dream to photograph, but the best part was just how warm and excited all of Mallory’s bridesmaids and family were to share in her bridal luncheon. There were tons of smiles and candid moments to capture… and more than a few tears during her Aunt Diane’s sweet welcome toast as they sat down to a delicious three-course meal and some mimosas.
Congrats again to Mallory! Thank you again for having me to photograph your bridal luncheon, I had a wonderful time. Also, thank you to Leela (one of my brides!) and the hardworking team at the Post House Inn for making every party, wedding, and dinner an event to remember.
If you’ve yet to visit the Old Village Post House Inn, check out their website here and visit them for dinner one of these nights! Isn’t it about time for a date night anyway?!
